AUTUMN RIDE

An original acrylic painting measuring 80cm x 80cm. This painting has come from my regular bike rides into the Sussex countryside. This piece came out of Autumnal, misty bike rides towards Lewes, at the time when the straw is being baled, when you can see and smell the earth again and the drizzle doesn't matter. Rain often adds to my inspiration, as it always adds abstract texture and atmosphere and I love being out in it.
