‘WEATHERED DAHLIAS’

An original acrylic painting measuring 80cm x 80cm. This painting developed from a summer of swimming in the sea, both in Cornwall and Brighton, along with watching the changeable weather and buying dahlias from the side of the road. I love how the rain on a window pane can add abstract texture and atmosphere to what’s behind it which was the final piece of inspiration for this painting.
