WORKSHOP WEEKEND - SYNAESTHESIA ART , 20th and 21st JUNE 2026

This is a 2 day workshop weekend with a small group of people taking place at the beautiful Old Custom House in Penzance, Cornwall.
The weekend is designed to be relaxing as well as creative because often slowing down, both physically and mentally, can really help you to engage with your senses and synaesthesia...even if you don't think you have it!

During the two days you will take time to consciously listen to your surroundings, smell and taste your food and explore how you personally process sensory stimuli.
There will also be a sensory walk down to the Penzance seafront and around Morrab Gardens. Using drawing, painting and collage techniques, you will then artistically explore your experiences with my guidance, filling a sketchbook with visual notes and creating a piece of work on a small canvas.
You can attend this workshop weekend with any level of capability, beginner or experienced, because it will focus on a different way of seeing, rather than accomplished techniques.

The days run from 09:30am - 5pm with lunch and refreshments included on both days, as well as an early evening tipple at the end our first day.

Penzance is pretty much at the end of the country, so if you are travelling a distance for the workshop weekend I can give you a few Air B&B recommendations if you need them.
I will also provide a list of local restaurants you can book along with some other spots you might want to visit if you are staying for a few days extra.
